Advantage Air was founded in 1999 by Michelle and Troy Jones. In 2026, Josh and Jessica Hendricks became the proud new owners of Advantage Air—and they’re not from somewhere else! Josh was born and raised in St. Louis; Jessica has called the area home for nearly 12 years. This is their community, and these are their neighbors.
After more than 22 years in the corporate world, seeing service from every angle as a customer, an operator, and a sales leader, Josh decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and build something of his own, grounded in values he believes in: treat people honestly, do the work right, and stand behind it. Jessica supports the business with a background in administration, marketing, and graphic design, keeping the behind-the-scenes running smoothly so the team can focus on customers.
Founder Troy Jones says, “This is a transition, not a turnover.” He is staying on to work closely with Josh for the foreseeable future, so the knowledge and standards built over decades carry forward without missing a beat.
