Recently moved to St. Louis area from Chicago suburbs. Notedthat my second floor was not adequately cooling and proceeded to add several inches of insulation. Still no change until Advantage Air came into the picture. Troy was at the house and immediately identified my issue as NO cold air return function.Told that my fix was to run a much shorter return line. Did this and still inadequate return. He next came back with a camera and found the issue was also that my returns in the wall were blocked with wood and insulation. Had a carpenter out to repairthe returns and reline the walls. I now have a system that is working!! Troy was spot on and I am truly thankful for hiswillingness and determination to get this issue fixed and doneright. Advantage Air truly cares about their customer and Ihighly recommend them!

The tech was professional. And factual. Analyzed the meter condition and recommended a call.to Spire because of the age of the setup. He shutoff the gas supply for safety. Spire arrived and replaced everything repairing the gas leak. Thank you, to Advantage Air.

Our A/C went out recently and we called a few companies and Advantage Air was the first one to call us back. We talked to Kayla who was absolutely wonderful. She was very professional and kind. Got an appointment set up and Bobby came over and explained all of our options. We didn’t feel any pressure at all. He laid out all the options and explained the pros and cons of each one. It made making a decision so much easier. Bobby, Troy, and Kayla came over to do the work and took great care with our home. The A/C is working perfectly now. This is not only the best heating and cooling company in St. Louis, but one of the best companies we’ve ever dealt with. They actually show how much they care about their customers through their words and actions. We’ll be recommending this company to everyone who’s in need!

I woke up Sunday morning to my house temperature at 55 degrees and immediately started calling HVAC companies. After contacting about 10 places, Advantage Air, L.L.C. was the only one that could come out by 10 a.m. Bobby was absolutely amazing. By the time he began servicing the furnace, the temperature in my house had dropped to 52 degrees, but he didn’t rush the job. He stayed to make sure the thermostat climbed back up to at least 56 before leaving. He also took the time to patiently answer all of my technical questions about furnaces, especially my own system. Excellent service from start to finish. Thank you—I’ll definitely be recommending Advantage Air to everyone in my village.

Summary: I had a very good experience with Advantage Air and would call them again without hesitation.Details:I called Advantage Air on a Saturday at 10:13am. A technician, Troy, called me back at 10:26am. Troy was at my house by 11:00am and had replaced a burnt out capacitor and checked the performance of my HVAC system by 11:30am. Total cost: $522.79.The woman I called was pleasant. Troy, the gentleman who fixed the issue, was a nice guy who worked quickly/efficiently and answered all my questions.

Replacing your HVAC unit is both expensive and overwhelming. After getting estimates from 5 other companies Advantage Air was an easy choice. Everyone that I talked to was so kind and helpful as I went through the process of finding the right system to fit my needs. Troy was wonderful to work with when deciding on the right unit and everyone I talked to in their office was incredibly friendly and accommodating when scheduling the install or answering questions.They didn't try to upsell or pressure me with add-ons .The techs were professional and worked quickly.Bobby, Tyson and Mike were fantastic to work with on the day of the install and would highly recommend Advantage Air to anyone in need of HVAC repairs or replacement.

Almost $450 for a capacitor change less than 10 miles from the shop. I feel terrible for the techs that need to charge this much to work for you. I've been using Advantage Air for more than twenty years and their expertise is second to none. AA is professionally run by kind and knowledgeable folks that treats customers fairly. I recently had my furnace go out and they explained while they could certainly fix the unit, they recommend replacement as the unit was 25+ years old. They did not want to see me put good money after such an old furnace. They were able to replace the unit the next day and hauled away the old unit. AC quit overnight. I checked the things I could, but to no avail. Advantage Air was nearby and open on Sunday. After my initial call, the technician called back within the hour. Troy came out and was able to replace a blown capacitor very quickly. He explained and showed how the old one failed. Also gave some suggestions for keeping the coils on the outdoor unit clean.

AC stopped cooling in evening. Called Advantage Air at 10:30 pm, thinking I might be able to leave a message. A rep. answered the phone, took my information. The technician Bobby called me in 5 minutes and said he would work me in before his first appointment in the morning. He arrived at 8:15 and the problem was diagnosed and repaired in 15 minutes. Bobby is an excellent technician. It is a rare company today that answers their phone after hours and is willing to give service the next day. Advantage Air is great on installations and repairs.
